1. Grand Draw

An event – no matter the scale, is comparable to that of a sprint race.  A lot of backend preparations goes into it and so often, only the end product is being noticed or recognised.

At Delegate, we are extremely thankful to have successfully concluded our first ever “A Taste of Delegate” event, also featuring a collaboration with DBS Singapore!

This event was delivered with the intention to promote our unique vendors, and to serve as a platform to allow potential end users to gain a better understanding of what we do at Delegate. Basically, having a Taste of Delegate! With us, onboard the event was: Soi 55, HappySocks Avenue, Semicolon work, Craft Beverage Supply, The Edible Co and Firefly Photography!

SOI 55

Surely you would have heard about them unless you have been living in the cave for the past months! SOI 55 aims to bring about the Thai culture through the local food and drinks scene. Aside from Thai milk tea, they also recently brought in their newest addition – Thai milk tea soft serve! If you have not tried them out at local events before, don’t worry! It’s never too late to drop by their outlet, located at The Cathay.

They first started off when two friends came together with a vision to spread happiness to the people around them. With this idea in mind, they transformed everyday essentials like socks to design pieces – each bringing out its own colours!

Craft Beverage Supply 

Craft Beverage Supply is founded by best friends – Ash and Tim, who wants to share their love for drinks with others. Semicolon Works 

Semicolon works believes in upcycling and emphasises on sustainability. They aim to promote resource sustainability and the beauty of labour through their handcrafted leather products. The Edible Co. 

Healthy food can be yummy too! Who says healthy food is boring? Head over to The Edible Co and try out their granolas and varying range of snacks. All their products are natural and are all handmade with love and passion! Their best selling granola would be the Coconut Gula Melaka, followed by the Cranberry Almond. If it is your first order from them, you would be entitled $5 off your order as well!

For “A taste of Delegate”, they also brought in HIC juice, featuring a variety of cold-pressed juices for all you health junkies!

Firefly Photography 

Firefly Photography consists of photographers from varying backgrounds – all striving to capture only the best moments of the events via their lenses. They offer a wide range of photography packages, from family shoots to corporate events and even photo booth services. At a Taste of Delegate, they shot complimentary professional headshots for those who wanted one!

Lastly, the Delegate team would like to extend our gratitude to our vendors as well as DBS for making this event a successful one! We definitely look forward to many more episodes to come in the future!

Christmas may be the time for giving, joy and spending quality time together but it’s not quite Christmas if you don’t have a party! Here are the highlights from Delegate’s Christmas party this year and how we celebrated it.  Thank you to Jaq’s Bakes for the lovely Christmas desserts and sweets, Craft Beverage Supply for the endless supply of party drinks, The Bloomish Eden for their lovely decor and flowers to make our office space more festive and Knotties Frame for their artistic photography!

A few words from the Delegate Team about the styling behind the shoot:

“We thought it would be a fun idea to DIY our own decor for our Christmas party. You don’t need to be a professional event stylist – all you need is Pinterest for inspiration and some helping hands! Sometimes simple is the way to go (and all on a budget too!). I think many of us find the idea of making our own decorations from scratch daunting, especially if you don’t consider yourself to be a creative person.

But, it turned out to be a lot of fun and not as terrifying as we thought it would be! Things might go wrong here and there but it was an experience nonetheless and every time we look at our ‘Christmas tree’, it seems that much more meaningful. Of course, it helped that we did it as a team; so grab your family and friends and get your hands dirty. Teamwork makes the dream work!”
