I’m Daniel Sim as my brand implies haha.. I play the drums, guitar and I love to travel!
D: What is the vision/mission for your company?
To always be improving in my craft & services for my couples at any point in my career.
D: How did you start your business? What were some adversities when you first started out?
I started 2 years back when I got more client requests through word of mouth. I was very encouraged and grateful for their trust in me to deliver. It’s a once in a lifetime event, so it could make or break me.
D: Any trade secrets you can reveal?
D: Most memorable experience since starting your business?Most memorable experience was knowing that I was mindful enough to have captured photo memories of the couple with the bride’s grandmother. Sadly she passed on but she was thankful for the photos that will now last forever.
D: What is one thing you would like customers to know about your company?
D: What aspects of your personality can we see in your work?
My photojournalistic style yet focusing right into the emotions of moments. I am quite the introvert and enjoy time on my own but I also get excited when I get to capture a couple’s most important day(yet) I always tell myself – to be a storyteller first, a photographer second. That has since become my slogan of sorts 🙂
D: What is one thing people don’t know about you?
D: How would you describe your personal style?
I’m pretty practical in the sense of daily living. I spend my time/money on what I love like travelling. I don’t spend time worrying about what others think or say about me or what I’m doing. Because at the end of the day, you are accountable for your own life.
D: What are your hobbies and passion outside of work?
I love music, food, a good cuppa coffee and of course exploring the next country that I’ve not been to!
D: Which habits of yours have gotten you to where you are today?
I guess it’s my perseverance. I knew in my heart what I wanted to do and I just gave my all to pursue it. It also helps to have supportive family and friends though.
D: How do you spend your weekends/free time?
I usually spend time binge watching movies/tv series. I draw inspiration from different visual mediums as well so these are times I enjoy their stories while “learning” from the Hollywood pros.
D: Any future plans in the pipeline?
