If you’ve decided on an outdoor affair, complete with shrubbery and the sounds of nature, look no further. Browse through our collection of curated outdoor wedding venues sure to create that intimate wedding setting you are looking for!

When you think of nature venues, the first thing that comes to mind should be our beloved Gardens by the Bay. It’s not just about the Supertrees, Flower Dome and Cloud Forest. There is also Flower Field Hall – a picturesque garden event space with floral arrangements and overflowing greenery. If stepping into an enchanted forest is not for you, how about Silver Leaf? This space is perfect for an intimate outdoor wedding ceremony under the canopy of Supertrees. Lastly, The Meadow is Singapore’s largest outdoor garden venue. It can accommodate up to 30,000 people! This is truly the Crazy Rich Asian-esque nuptial of your dreams.

Open Farm Community

You read that right, it’s a farm in Singapore. Just to be clear, we aren’t talking about muddy paddy fields or a stray herd of chickens. Open Farm Community is an open concept restaurant with an emphasis on sustainability. Think of ethical kitchen practices as well as locally sourced dishes. Nestled behind Botanic Gardens, there is no shortage of vast greenery in this outdoor wedding setting. There is also a quaint outdoor ceremony space along with a rustic wood-accented indoor reception area. There is no need to worry about weather interruptions with an alternative venue and you would have the catering settled simultaneously.

The Halia

The Halia translates to ginger in Malay and is a restaurant situated within the Singapore Botanic Gardens, in the (you guessed it) Ginger Garden. There is no need to succumb to humidity to enjoy the natural foliage here. You will be kept cool within the venue as its full-length glass windows let nature peek in. Treat your guests to a buffet spread and rest assured, all dishes are halal too. Let the surrounding palm trees and decades-old fauna hold witness to your wondrous occasion!

Boufe Boutique Cafe

Located within a colonial building, this hidden gem is no stranger to the wedding scene. Don’t be fooled by the monochrome decor, it’s the perfect canvas to bring any wedding ideas to life. Boufe Boutique Cafe offers Solemnisation Packages for your special day, complete with complimentary outdoor floral wedding decorations and a wedding arch. Not to forget, of course, sumptuous in-house cafe food! The outdoor wedding ceremony will be held at their alfresco area for a quaint and intimate ceremony away from the bustle of the city.

Plentyfull

Have you ever thought about your lunch place also being a venue to tie the knot? Plentyfull is just the place for that. Apart from it being a restaurant and grocer, it also doubles up as a great venue for private events. The industrial black and wood is the perfect landscape for a modern millennial occasion if you are looking to step away from traditional wedding themes. True to its name, Plentyfull will ensure that none of your guests will leave hungry with their hand-made dishes sourced from the freshest produce.

Tamarind Hill Singapore

Atop Labrador Reserve Park is a colonial bungalow now known as Tamarind Hill Singapore, serving fine Thai cuisine. This enclave is enchanting in its own right, holding the charm of a historic building surrounded by idyllic nature. The building comes to life at night with the addition of fairy lights and lanterns, as if you have stepped into another world. Recite your vows under an awning of lights ensconced by the beckoning trees and flowers for an otherworldly experience.

Grub @ Bishan

If all these venues are out of reach and you fancy a spot somewhere within the heartlands, this next venue will be a great consideration for you. Situated in the centre of Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park is Grub @ Bishan. It’s a quirky bistro joint and mayhap your potential wedding venue too. Also, their red brick wall and wooden chairs give off a very homey and intimate vibe, complementing the scenic park view. Their menu is a spread of Western and American diner food, with pasta, churros, pizza and of course, burgers to boot for your buffet set up.

Walking on Sunshine

If you’d like the lush greenery without having to trek through the great outdoors or battle with mosquitoes, how about an indoor garden? Walking on Sunshine is a Korean cafe cum salon that has been fitted with hanging vines and shelves teeming with potted plants to the extent that there are more plants than humans at any one time within. They go above and beyond a normal venue, having professional photographers with their photo studio to capture moments during your ceremony, and service that can rival that of Hai Di Lao.

Latteria Mozzarella Bar

Whisking away to Italy for your nuptial isn’t always a viable option. Well, at least be in the comfort of Italian food at Latteria Mozerella Bar for your ceremony. They fly in their Mozzarella and Burrata cheeses from Italy twice a week, so you know that they’re the real deal. Head out to the alfresco dining area for their outdoor event space, with shophouse buildings peeking out behind the curtain of trees. Tuck into their hearty Southern Italian dishes with your guests and entertain them among the low table and high chair seating arrangements too.

Naturelle Singapore

Naturelle Singapore is in the heart of Tanglin’s Phoenix Park and is separated into three distinct areas for your choosing. A sleek monochromatic indoor dining area, the al fresco upper terrace, and the garden deck with wooden panel flooring surrounded by stringed lights. Be tantalised by Chef de Cuisine Linh Lam and her French style cooking. Married with South East Asian influences, you and your guests are set to have a meal to remember.

Finally, we head back to the Singapore Botanic Gardens. This time for The Villa. Equipped with three different private spaces; Batik Room, Drawing Room and courtyard, you can customise your bookings according to your needs. Depending on the number of guests, you can easily book two or more areas to customise the configuration of the space. Perfect for guests who need flexibility without compromising on the garden and outdoor aspect of your big day.

Save Wedding Vendors

This global pandemic we are in has brought a host of challenges to everyone involved in the wedding industry. From brides-to-be to wedding vendors, these are unprecedented times. We, here at Delegate, want to be part of the solution and that is why we started this Facebook group – Save Wedding Vendors. We aim to build a community of helpful vendors and members. You can post your queries, ask for recommendations and share promotions or reviews as well.

We also started a second initiative to support vulnerable individuals and families affected by the COVID-19 situation. During this circuit breaker period, as part of the community, we will be donating SGD1 for every package purchased on Delegate to The Courage Fund by National Council of Social Service (NCSS). Do feel free to spread the word and support this cause!

It’s been a whirlwind of a year so far. Let’s make it a habit to check in on our loved ones and do our part to support one another.
